Who We Are

Istria Safari is a tourism activity provider based in Vinkuran and Medulin, southern Istria, Croatia. We offer guided jet ski and quad safaris, as well as vehicle and equipment rentals.

What We Collect

We collect only the minimum personal data needed to confirm and manage your booking:

  • Name, email, and phone number — provided when you submit a booking request or contact us
  • Language preference — stored as a cookie so the site remembers your chosen language
  • Basic visit analytics — page views measured by Umami and our own first-party system (no cookies, no stored IP address — see Analytics below)

Why We Collect It

  • To confirm and manage your booking via WhatsApp or email
  • To contact you about schedule changes or weather-related cancellations
  • To improve our website based on anonymous usage patterns

Cookies

We use a single functional cookie (i18n_locale) to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party marketing cookies.

Analytics

We don't track you across the web.

Without your consent: we set no cookies, use no advertising identifiers, and never store your IP address — on the server it becomes a one-way code using a key that changes every day and is not kept.

With your consent: cookies are set to measure advertising performance and to recognise your device when you return. Anything that requires storage on your device happens only with your consent, and we ask before anything is set.

Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your booking data is only used internally to provide the service you requested. Our analytics tool (Umami) is self-hosted and does not collect personal information.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can also withdraw consent for data processing. To exercise any of these rights, simply contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
